Our Beliefs

The Foursquare Church believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King.

We stand firm on the foundation set by Hebrews 13:8, which proclaims: “Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever.”

Our History

Freedom Church began in the spring of 2013. With a vision to have 1st century church in the 21st century, a small group of about 18 adults and children began to reach those that had never attended a church before, and those that also had been hurt or given up on the traditional church model.

The church first began in a local home on Thursday evenings, and by the summer of 2013 Freedom Church began holding Sunday services in the front yard of a home in Cotuit ma. Meeting outside in the beautiful Cape Cod sun was a breath of fresh air to all. With the addition of several new faces, and the fall and winter on the horizon, the need for a space arose.

After seeking rental space, and eliminating the possibility of meeting in a home, Freedom Hall in Cotuit came as a gift from God. A historic grange hall over 150 years old, was available and free to use every Sunday! After a couple of trail services, the church committed to a monthly donation and met in the hall for well over a year.

In the first year the church doubled in size, and saw many new families begin to attend church. Our small church was able to impact many lives in a very short time. Without the constraints of buildings and grounds, Freedom was positioned to live out our vision of a small caring community of believers, reaching many new and hurting faces!

Freedom hall was soon out grown, and in the summer of 2015 the church was once again blessed by God with a new venue, 2 miles away, and still in Cotuit! Use of the Holy Ghost Society building was investigated and agreed upon, adding space and the use of kitchen facilities, again for a small monthly donation!

Today, Freedom Church has grown dramatically. More than tripling in size in just 3 years, new faces continue to join our small community! God has and is moving in the lives on many that call Freedom home.
